Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Gdańsk. Head west on Długa Street towards Targ Węglowy. Continue onto Węgierska Street and follow the signs for S7 towards Gdynia. Merge onto S7 and continue for about 12 km. Take the exit toward Oliwa. Follow the local roads to reach the Whisper Grottoes located in Oliwa Park (80-001 Gdańsk). Parking is available near the entrance, but be aware that it may incur a fee of around 5-10 PLN per hour.
Public Transportation
For public transport, start at Gdańsk Główny railway station. Take the SKM (Fast Urban Railway) line towards Sopot or Gdynia. Get off at the Oliwa station. From the station, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Whisper Grottoes. Simply exit the station and head east on Hestii Street, then turn left onto Opolska Street, and follow it straight into Oliwa Park where the grottoes are located. The SKM ticket costs approximately 4-10 PLN depending on your travel zone.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental stations in Gdańsk. Follow the designated bike paths heading towards Oliwa. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes depending on your starting point. Once you arrive in Oliwa Park, you can lock your bike at the bike racks near the entrance to the Whisper Grottoes. Remember to bring a lock and check for any rental fees, which typically range from 10-20 PLN per hour.
