Public Transport (Tram)
From the city center, take tram line 1 or 2 from 'Rondo Kaponiera' stop towards 'Piątkowo' or 'Os. Lecha'. Ride until you reach 'Most Teatralny' stop. Transfer to tram line 5 towards 'Czerwonak' and ride until 'Cytadela' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Fort Winiary. Exit the tram, head east on 'Cytadela' street, then turn left onto 'Za Cytadelą' street. Continue straight until you reach Fort Winiary at Za Cytadelą 128.
Walking
If you are near the Old Market Square, you can walk to Fort Winiary. Start at the square and head northwest on 'Wielka' street, then take a right onto 'Kolejowa' street. Continue walking until you reach the 'Cytadela' park entrance. Walk through the park for about 15-20 minutes, enjoying the scenery. After exiting the park, head towards 'Za Cytadelą' street, and you'll find Fort Winiary at Za Cytadelą 128.
Bus
From the Poznań Główny train station, take bus line 48 towards 'Główna'. Get off at 'Cytadela' bus stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Fort Winiary. Head east on 'Cytadela' street and then turn left onto 'Za Cytadelą' street, continuing until you reach Fort Winiary at Za Cytadelą 128.
