Follow the signs for Chorzów and then take the exit towards ZOO. There is ample parking available at the zoo, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around 10 PLN for the day.
Public Transportation - Train

To reach the Silesian Zoological Park via train, you can take a train from Katowice Glowny station to Chorzów Batory station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Chorzów Batory, exit the station and catch bus number 38 or 40 that goes directly to the zoo. The bus fare is approximately 3 PLN, and it takes around 10-15 minutes to reach the zoo from the bus stop.
Public Transportation - Tram

An alternative option is to take the tram from Katowice. Board tram line 11 from the main station towards Chorzów. Get off at the 'Chorzów ZOO' stop, which is just a short walk from the zoo entrance. The tram ride costs around 3 PLN and takes about 20 minutes.
