Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, start your journey in Zakopane. Drive to the main road, 'Droga Krajowa 47', heading towards 'Nowy Targ'. After approximately 5 km, look for signs directing you to 'Tatra National Park' and 'Kuźnice'. Follow the signs to 'Kuźnice' where you can park your car in the designated parking area. Note that parking fees may apply, typically around 20 PLN per day.

  • Bus

    Using public transportation is another great option. From Zakopane, take a local bus (LPP) that goes to 'Kuźnice'. Buses run frequently, and the fare is usually around 5-10 PLN. Once you arrive at Kuźnice, look for the trailhead for 'Valley of Dry Water' (Czarny Szlak). The trail begins near the upper station of the cable car.

  • Hiking

    After parking your car or arriving by bus at Kuźnice, start your hike on the black trail (Czarny Szlak). The trail is well-marked and will lead you directly to the Valley of Dry Water. The hike is moderate in difficulty and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the valley, depending on your pace. Ensure you have proper footwear and enough water for the hike.
