Public Bus
From the center of Zakopane, head to the main bus station, which is located at ul. Kościuszki 12. Catch the bus labeled 'Chochołowska' or 'Dolina Chochołowska' that departs from platform 3. Buses run approximately every hour. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the final stop, which is the entrance to Chochołowska Valley.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start at the main square in Zakopane (Plac Niepodległości). Head southwest on ul. Krupówki, then turn left onto ul. Kościuszki. Walk straight until you reach the bus station (approximately 15 minutes). From the bus station, follow the public bus instructions to reach Chochołowska Valley.
Taxi
For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Zakopane to Chochołowska Valley. You can hail a taxi from the street or use a local taxi app. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic, and you should expect to pay around 50-70 PLN.
