From the center of Zakopane, walk to the main bus station (Dworzec PKS), which is located at ul. Kościuszki 12. From there, take a bus heading to Szczawnica. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Szczawnica stop. Once you arrive in Szczawnica, you will need to walk to the Kolej linowa Palenica. Head towards ul. Główna, and follow the signs for the cable car station (Kolej linowa Palenica). It's about a 10-15 minute walk uphill from the bus stop to the cable car station.
