If you're driving from Faro, take the A22 motorway heading west. After approximately 50 km, take exit 17 toward N124-2/Monchique. Follow the N124-2 road for about 20 km until you reach Monchique. From Monchique, take the road towards Fóia, following the signs. The last stretch is a winding road but well paved, leading directly to the Fóia viewpoint. There are no tolls on this route.
