Walking
If you are starting from the Aveiro Train Station, exit the station and head east on Avenida Dr. Lourenço Peixinho. Continue straight for about 700 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua João Mendonça. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rua 31 de Janeiro, then turn left. Follow this street until you arrive at the picturesque Canal de São Roque. Continue walking along the canal until you see the signs for Cais da Fonte Nova, which will be on your right.
Public Transport
From the Aveiro Train Station, you can take a local bus. Look for the bus stop near the station and board Bus 2 (A) towards 'Cais da Fonte Nova'. The journey takes around 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Cais da Fonte Nova' stop, and you will find the entrance to the attraction just a short walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Aveiro. From the city center, head towards Avenida de Portugal, then follow the path along the Canal de São Roque. This scenic route will take you directly to Cais da Fonte Nova, which is about 2 kilometers from the city center. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes.
