Walking
Start at the Aveiro train station (Estação de Aveiro). Exit the station and head south on Rua João Mendonça. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach Praça da República. At the square, you will see a large fountain and the city hall. From here, take Rua de Coimbra, which is located on the left side of the square. Walk along Rua de Coimbra for approximately 400 meters until you reach the end of the street, where it merges into Avenida Dr. Lourenço Peixinho. Turn left onto Avenida Dr. Lourenço Peixinho and continue for about 1 kilometer, passing several shops and cafes. Look for a right turning onto Rua dos Doutores. Follow this road for approximately 300 meters, and you will see signs pointing towards Fonte da Mina. The fountain is located on Unnamed Road, which is accessible via a short pathway off of Rua dos Doutores.

From the Aveiro train station, walk to the bus stop located just outside the station. Take bus number 7 in the direction of 'Cais da Fonte da Mina'. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Fonte da Mina'. Once you alight, walk down the path that leads to the fountain, which will be just a short distance away. Follow the signs leading to the attraction.
