If you are at the Aveiro train station, exit the station and head south on Avenida da Liberdade. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Praça da República. From there, continue straight down Rua de José Estevão, which will lead you to a more scenic route along the canal. Follow the canal until you arrive at Cais do Côjo, where you'll see the Ponte dos Laços de Amizade.
