Walking
If you are starting from the Braga city center, make your way to the Braga train station (Estação de Braga). From the station, head south on Rua Dr. José Sampaio towards Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of the avenue. Here, take the first exit onto Avenida da Liberdade. After about 400 meters, turn left onto Avenida da República and continue for about 1 km until you reach the Praça do Município. From there, head towards the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Braga) located nearby. At the bus station, find the bus line 1 that goes to Porto. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Porto bus station, exit the station and walk towards the metro station 'Campo 24 de Agosto'. Take the Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. After 8 stops, get off at the 'Casa da Música' station. Exit the station and head towards Rua de João de Deus, then continue onto Rua de Gonçalves Zarco where you will find the Castelo do Queijo at number 20.
Bus
From the center of Braga, walk to the Terminal Rodoviário de Braga (the main bus terminal). Look for bus line 1 that goes directly to Porto. Buy your ticket from the ticket counter or the ticket machine. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Porto bus terminal, exit the terminal and head to the nearest metro station, which is 'Campo 24 de Agosto'. Take Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. After 8 stops, disembark at the 'Casa da Música' metro station. From there, walk to Rua de Gonçalves Zarco, and you will find Castelo do Queijo at number 20.
Train
Begin your journey at the Braga train station (Estação de Braga). Purchase a ticket for a train heading to Porto (Porto São Bento or Porto Campanhã). The train ride lasts approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Porto, head towards the nearest metro station, which is 'São Bento'. Take the metro on Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos and get off at the 'Casa da Música' station after 5 stops. Exit the station and walk along Rua de João de Deus, then onto Rua de Gonçalves Zarco to reach Castelo do Queijo at number 20.
