Walking
From the center of Braga, start at the Praça da República. Head southeast on Rua do Comércio towards Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the Avenida da Liberdade. Turn left and walk down Avenida da Liberdade until you reach the train station (Estação de Braga). From the train station, take a train to Porto. Once you arrive at Porto's Campanhã station, exit the station and take the Metro blue line (line A) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. Alight at the Trindade station. Change to the yellow line (line D) towards Hospital de São João and travel to the Aliados station. Finally, exit the station and walk towards Rua do Carmo. The Igreja do Carmo will be on your left at R. do Carmo, 4050-164 Porto.
Public Transport
From the Praça da República in Braga, walk to the nearby bus stop located on Avenida da Liberdade. Take the bus operated by Transdev (line 1) towards Porto. The bus will take you directly to Porto city center. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Porto, walk to the nearest Metro station, which is Aliados. Board the yellow line (line D) towards Hospital de São João and alight at the Trindade station. From here, walk towards Rua do Carmo, where you will find Igreja do Carmo on your left at R. do Carmo, 4050-164 Porto.
