Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in the city center of Braga, you can start your journey by heading towards Avenida da Liberdade. Walk down this avenue until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Paulo. Turn right onto Rua de São Paulo and continue until you reach the main square, Praça da República. From the square, head towards the Rua do Comércio and follow it until you reach the Braga Train Station. Once there, you can board a train heading to Porto. After arriving at Porto, exit the station and walk towards the metro station, which is just a short distance away. Take the metro Line A (Blue Line) towards Estádio do Dragão. Disembark at the stop 'Marquês' and from there, it's a short walk to Jardim Marques de Oliveira. Just head northeast along Rua de Passos Manuel until you reach Passeio de São Lázaro, where the garden is located.

• Public Transport

  From your location in Braga, make your way to the local bus terminal, which is located near the city center. Board the bus that heads to Porto; they typically run every 30 minutes. The bus will take you directly to Porto's main bus station. Once you arrive at the station, exit and follow the signs to the metro station. Purchase a ticket for the metro and take Line A (Blue Line) towards Estádio do Dragão. Get off at 'Marquês' station. After exiting the station, head northeast along Rua de Passos Manuel, and you will soon arrive at Jardim Marques de Oliveira located on Passeio de São Lázaro.

• Taxi or Ride-sharing

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app from your location in Braga. Simply enter 'Jardim Marques de Oliveira, Passeio de São Lázaro 33, Porto' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the garden. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic, and you will be dropped off right at the entrance of the park.
