Bus
From Braga city center, head to the bus station (Estação de Autocarros de Braga). You can take the bus number 2 or 3 that goes towards Guimarães. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Guimarães bus station. From the bus station, exit and walk straight for about 10 minutes, following the signs towards the city center. Largo do Toural will be on your left.
Train
Make your way to the Braga train station (Estação de Braga). Purchase a ticket to Guimarães. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Guimarães train station, exit and walk towards the city center. Follow the signs, and after about a 15-minute walk, you will reach Largo do Toural.
Walking
If you are near the center of Braga, you can also walk to Largo do Toural. Start from the Praça da República, heading northeast on Rua de São Marcos. Continue straight until you reach Rua de São Bento. Turn left on Rua de São Bento and walk straight until you reach Largo do Toural, which is a beautiful square surrounded by historical buildings.
Taxi or Rideshare
You can take a taxi or use a rideshare app from anywhere in Braga. Just tell the driver to take you to Largo do Toural in Guimarães. The drive will take about 20 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
