Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Braga, walk to the Braga train station (Estação de Braga). Once there, take the train to Porto's São Bento station. The train ride takes about 40 minutes. After arriving at São Bento station, exit the station and head southwest on Rua de 31 de Janeiro. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida dos Aliados. Turn left onto Avenida dos Aliados and walk towards the end of the avenue. At the Praça da Liberdade, turn right onto Rua das Carmelitas. Continue walking for another 5 minutes and you will find Livraria Lello at R. das Carmelitas 144, 4050-161 Porto.

• Bus

  From the main square in Braga, catch the bus to Porto. Look for the bus line that goes to Porto (often labeled as 'Porto' or 'Rua 31 de Janeiro'). The bus ride takes about 1 hour. After arriving at the bus station in Porto, walk towards the nearest metro station, Trindade. From Trindade, take the metro to São Bento station. Once you exit São Bento, head southwest on Rua de 31 de Janeiro, continue onto Avenida dos Aliados, then turn right onto Rua das Carmelitas. Livraria Lello is located at R. das Carmelitas 144, a short walk from there.

• Metro

  To take the metro, first make your way to the Braga metro station (if available). Take the metro to the nearest intercity station that connects to Porto. Upon arriving at a metro station in Porto, transfer to Line A (the blue line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos and get off at Trindade station. From Trindade station, head to São Bento station by foot. Exit São Bento and head southwest on Rua de 31 de Janeiro, then continue onto Avenida dos Aliados and take a right onto Rua das Carmelitas. Livraria Lello is located at R. das Carmelitas 144, 4050-161 Porto.
