Metro
From the center of Braga, make your way to the Braga Metro Station. You can walk there by heading south on Avenida da Liberdade until you reach the Praça da República. From there, follow the signs to the metro station. Take the metro towards Porto and transfer at the Campanhã Station to the Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. Get off at the São Bento Station in Porto. Once you exit São Bento Station, follow the signs to the exit towards Rua Ferreira Borges.
Walking
After exiting São Bento Station, walk down Rua Ferreira Borges until you reach the Praça de Ribeira. Continue walking straight until you reach the Douro River. The Ponte Luís I will be right in front of you. You can cross the bridge on the upper deck for stunning views of Porto and the river.
Bus
From Braga, take the bus from the central bus station (Estação de Auto-ônibus de Braga) to Porto. Look for the buses going to Porto and board one. The journey will take approximately one hour. Once you arrive at Campo 24 de Agosto in Porto, walk to the nearest metro station (Campo 24 de Agosto) and take Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. Get off at São Bento Station and follow the same directions as above to reach the Ponte Luís I.
