Getting There

  • Walking

    From the historic center of Braga, head towards Avenida da Liberdade. Walk straight along this avenue until you reach the intersection with Rua dos Capelistas. Turn left onto Rua dos Capelistas and continue straight. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach the Praça da República. From there, follow the signs to the bus station. Take the bus to Porto, which takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Porto, head to the Porto Cathedral located at Terreiro da Sé, 4050-573 Porto.

  • Public Transport

    From the Braga train station, take a train to Porto São Bento station. The journey takes around 40 minutes. After arriving at São Bento station, exit the station and head to the left towards Rua de Ferreira Borges. Continue straight until you reach a large square. From there, follow the signs pointing towards the Cathedral. It is about a 10-minute walk from the square to the Porto Cathedral at Terreiro da Sé.

  • Bus

    At the Braga bus terminal, take any bus heading to Porto. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Porto bus terminal, exit and catch the metro from the nearby Campo 24 de Agosto station. Take the metro to São Bento station. Upon exiting the station, walk towards the main square and follow the signs to Porto Cathedral at Terreiro da Sé, which is just a short walk away.
