Bus
From Braga city center, head to the Braga Bus Station (Estação Rodoviária de Braga). You can walk there in about 10 minutes from Praça da República. At the bus station, look for a bus heading to Penafiel. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Penafiel, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk towards Rua da Aveleda, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head east on Avenida Doutor Abílio Mendes, then turn left onto Rua da Aveleda. Quinta da Aveleda will be on your left.
Train and Bus
Begin your journey at Braga Train Station (Estação de Braga). Take a train to the Penafiel station; the journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Penafiel Train Station, exit and look for local bus services that go towards Rua da Aveleda or Penafiel city center. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the train station to Quinta da Aveleda, which will take around 10 minutes.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare app. Simply provide the driver with the address: Rua da Aveleda 2, 4560-570 Penafiel. The ride will take approximately 25-30 minutes from Braga city center.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and have time, you can walk from the Penafiel city center to Quinta da Aveleda. Start at Praça da República in Penafiel and head southeast on Avenida 5 de Outubro. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Rua da Aveleda. Turn left, and Quinta da Aveleda will be on your right. The walk will take around 25-30 minutes.
