From the center of Cascais, head to the Cascais Bus Station located on Avenida 25 de Abril. Look for the bus line that goes towards Galapos Beach. The bus number you should take is the 403, which goes directly to São Simão. The journey will take approximately 20-25 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop for Galapos Beach, you will see signs directing you to the beach. Follow the signs, and it’s just a short walk down a path to reach the beach.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start at the Cascais Town Center and make your way towards the coastline. Head towards Avenida Marginal and continue walking along the waterfront promenade. You will pass several beautiful views and small beaches along the way. Continue walking for about 4 kilometers until you reach Galapos Beach. The walk will take approximately 1 hour but will be a scenic route perfect for taking photos.

Bicycle
If you enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Cascais. Head towards the bike path along the coast and follow it towards São Simão. The bike ride is approximately 4 kilometers and should take around 15-20 minutes. Keep following the path until you see signs for Galapos Beach, and you will find the entrance to the beach easily.
