Train
From Cascais, head to the Cascais train station, which is located in the town center. Purchase a ticket for Setúbal, which is approximately a 40-minute train ride. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic views until you reach Setúbal station. Upon arrival at Setúbal station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop located just outside. Look for local buses heading to Largo Jesus or take a taxi for a direct route.
Bus
If you prefer to travel by bus, you can take the bus from Cascais to Setúbal. Head to the main bus terminal in Cascais and look for the bus line that goes to Setúbal. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Setúbal, you can either walk to Largo Jesus, which is about a 15-20 minute walk, or take a local taxi for a quicker option.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Cascais to Largo Jesus in Setúbal. Simply hail a taxi or use a rideshare app. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to show the driver the destination address: Largo Jesus, 2900-261 Setúbal.
Walking
If you are near the Setúbal area after taking any of the transport options mentioned, you can walk to Largo Jesus. From the Setúbal train or bus station, head southwest on Avenida 5 de Outubro, then turn right onto Rua do Comércio. Continue straight until you reach Largo Jesus, where the Museu de Setúbal/Convento de Jesus is located.
