Walking
If you are starting from the main square, Praça de Camões, head northeast. Walk towards the Rua do Comércio and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Castelo de Chaves on your left. The castle is located at Praça de Camões 14.

From the Chaves Bus Station, take the local bus heading to the city center. The bus will take you to the Praça de Camões stop. Once you get off, walk towards the castle which is just a short 5-minute walk straight ahead. Follow the directions as provided above.
