If you are starting from the Chaves city center, head towards Rua Direita. Walk straight until you reach the Praça de Camões, a central square. From there, continue along Avenida 5 de Outubro. After about 500 meters, you will see a park on your left. Continue walking until you reach the end of the park, where you will find the Monumento do amor located in a small garden area just off the main avenue. The monument is easily recognizable and is a popular spot for photos.

For those renting a bicycle in Chaves, start at the Praça de Camões and head towards Avenida 5 de Outubro. Cycle straight along this avenue for about 1 kilometer.
