    If you're starting from the Chaves Castle (Castelo de Chaves), exit the castle grounds and head southeast on Rua da Igreja. Continue straight until you reach the main road, Avenida 5 de Outubro. Turn right and walk along this road for about 600 meters. You will pass a few shops and cafes. Look for the signs directing you towards the River Tâmega. After crossing the bridge over the river, continue walking straight until you reach Rua Caneiro. The Trajano Bridge is located at R. Caneiro 47, approximately 200 meters from the river.

    From the central bus station in Chaves, take Bus Line 1 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Praça Camões' stop. From there, walk towards the River Tâmega, which is only about a 5-minute walk. Cross the bridge over the river, and then follow Rua Caneiro for about 200 meters. The Trajano Bridge will be on your right at R. Caneiro 47.
