After crossing the bridge over the river, continue walking straight until you reach Rua Caneiro. The Trajano Bridge is located at R. Caneiro 47, approximately 200 meters from the river.
Public Transport

From the central bus station in Chaves, take Bus Line 1 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Praça Camões' stop. From there, walk towards the River Tâmega, which is only about a 5-minute walk. Cross the bridge over the river, and then follow Rua Caneiro for about 200 meters. The Trajano Bridge will be on your right at R. Caneiro 47.
Bicycling

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Chaves Thermal Spa (Termas de Chaves). Head south on Rua do Cais along the riverbank. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a fork; take the left path that leads you to the main road, Avenida 5 de Outubro. Turn left and cycle along Avenida 5 de Outubro.
