    From Coimbra, head to the nearby bus terminal, Terminal Rodoviário de Coimbra. Look for the bus line heading to Condeixa-a-Velha. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Condeixa-a-Velha bus stop, exit and head straight along Rua Professor Vergílio Correia. The Conimbriga Ruins will be on your left side just a few minutes' walk from the bus stop.

  • Bicycle

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Coimbra. Start from the city center and head north on Avenida Sá da Bandeira. Continue on this road until you reach the fork, where you will take the right onto the N111 road. Follow this road until you see signs for Condeixa-a-Velha. The ride is about 7 km and will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive, look for Rua Professor Vergílio Correia, and the Conimbriga Ruins will be nearby.

    For a scenic route, you can walk from Coimbra to Condeixa-a-Velha. Start from the Praça da República in Coimbra and head northwest towards Rua da Sofia. Follow the signs for Rua Infanta Dona Maria and continue until you reach the N111. Turn left onto the N111, and keep walking for about 7 km. The walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. When you reach Condeixa-a-Velha, take a right onto Rua Professor Vergílio Correia, and you will find the Conimbriga Ruins a short distance ahead.
