Car
If you are driving from Peso da Régua, head east on the N-222 road for approximately 30 km until you reach the town of Vila Nova de Foz Côa. At Vila Nova de Foz Côa, take the N-322 towards the northeast for about 20 km. This road will take you directly into the Parque Natural do Douro Internacional. Make sure to have a GPS or map handy as some areas may have limited signage.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transport, take a train from Peso da Régua to the nearest major station, which is in Vila Nova de Foz Côa. The train journey takes around 1 hour. Upon arriving at Vila Nova de Foz Côa, you will need to take a taxi or arrange for a rideshare to reach the Parque Natural do Douro Internacional, which is approximately 20 km away. Expect taxi fares to be around €20-€30, depending on the exact drop-off point within the park.
