Getting There

Walking
Start at the center of Guimarães, near the Praça de Santiago. Head north on Avenida Dom Afonso Henriques towards the N206 road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass the beautiful gardens of the Parque da Cidade on your right. As you approach the N206, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Alpine Coaster. Once you reach the N206, turn left and continue for about 400 meters. The Alpine Coaster will be on your right.

Public Transport - Bus
From the central bus station in Guimarães, take the bus line that heads towards the N206. Look for buses with 'N206' in their route name. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the Alpine Coaster; the stop will be announced. Once you disembark, walk back a short distance towards the direction the bus was heading, and you will see the Alpine Coaster located on your left.

Bicycle
If you're renting a bicycle, start from the historic center of Guimarães. Head north on Rua de São Paulo, which will lead you to Avenida Dom Afonso Henriques. Follow this avenue until you reach the N206 road. Turn left onto the N206 and bike for about 1.5 kilometers. The Alpine Coaster will be on your right-hand side. There are bike racks available near the entrance.
