Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Ericeira. Head southeast on Rua do Norte towards Rua da Liberdade. Follow the road as it turns left onto Rua da Liberdade and then take a right onto Av. dos Bombeiros Voluntários. Continue on this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Rua 1º de Maio. Continue straight until you reach the Marine monument located at 2655-319 Ericeira. There is usually street parking available nearby, but it may incur a fee depending on the time of day.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a local bus from the Ericeira bus terminal. Look for the bus heading towards Mafra and ensure it stops at Ericeira's main square. Disembark at the main square and walk towards Rua 1º de Maio. The Marine monument is approximately a 10-minute walk from the square. Follow Rua 1º de Maio until you reach the monument at 2655-319 Ericeira. The bus fare is typically around €1.50.

• Walking

  If you are already in the town center and prefer to walk, head southeast on Rua do Norte. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua da Liberdade. Turn right onto Rua da Liberdade and follow it until it intersects with Av. dos Bombeiros Voluntários. Turn left and continue straight until you reach the roundabout, where you will take the first exit onto Rua 1º de Maio. The Marine monument will be on your left side at 2655-319 Ericeira. The walk from the center should take about 15-20 minutes.
