Getting There

Train
If you are in the center of Sintra, head to the Sintra train station. From the station, take a train towards Lisbon. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lisbon train station (Lisboa - Rossio), exit the station and look for the Metro signs. Take the Metro (Green Line) towards Cais do Sodré and get off at the 'Alameda' station. Change to the Red Line and ride towards São Sebastião. Get off at 'São Sebastião' and transfer to the Blue Line towards Santa Apolónia. Finally, get off at 'Marquês de Pombal' and walk approximately 15 minutes to R. José Sobral Cid 19.

From the Sintra city center, head to the Bus Terminal near the Sintra train station. Take the bus number 403 or 417 towards Lisbon. The bus ride will take around 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Campo Pequeno' stop in Lisbon. From there, walk about 10 minutes to R. José Sobral Cid 19. Alternatively, you can take Metro line from 'Campo Pequeno' to 'Alameda' and then follow the Metro instructions as mentioned above.

Start at the Sintra National Palace, head south on Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda, turn left onto R. do Desterro, and continue until you reach the train station.
