If you are starting from the central Praça do Giraldo, head southeast towards Rua 5 de Outubro. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua da República. Turn left onto Rua da República and walk until you reach the end of the street, where it intersects with Praça 1º de Maio. The Igreja e Mosteiro de São Francisco will be located on your right.
Walking
From the Capela dos Ossos, exit and head south on Rua do Cais. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Rua da Liberdade, then turn left. Walk along Rua da Liberdade until you reach Praça 1º de Maio. The Igreja e Mosteiro de São Francisco will be on your left as you enter the square.

If you are near the Évora Cathedral, exit the cathedral and head north on Rua de Serpa Pinto. Turn left onto Rua do Muro, then shortly after, turn right onto Rua da Misericórdia. Continue until you reach the junction with Praça 1º de Maio. The Igreja e Mosteiro de São Francisco will be directly ahead.

From the Roman Temple of Évora, walk south on Rua do Muro until you reach Praça 1º de Maio. Continue straight into the square, and the Igreja e Mosteiro de São Francisco will be located at the far end of the square to your left.
