Walking
If you are in the center of Évora, start at Praça do Giraldo, which is a central square. From the square, head southwest towards Rua 5 de Outubro. Continue straight on Rua 5 de Outubro until you reach the intersection with Avenida da República. Turn left onto Avenida da República and walk until you see the large stone wall of the Muralhas de Évora on your right. Follow the wall until you reach Beco da Horta da Porta, where you will find the entrance to Muralhas de Évora. The total walk is about 10-15 minutes.
Public Transport
From the main bus station in Évora, take a local bus towards the city center. Get off at the stop labeled 'Praça do Giraldo'. Once you exit the bus, walk southwest towards Rua 5 de Outubro. Continue straight on Rua 5 de Outubro until you reach the intersection with Avenida da República. Turn left onto Avenida da República and walk until you see the Muralhas de Évora on your right. Follow the wall until you reach Beco da Horta da Porta where the entrance is located. The entire journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes.
