Keep straight towards Rua de Portugal. Once you reach the end of Rua de Portugal, you will see the ancient city walls ahead. Follow the path that leads you through the Arco da Vila, which is the main gateway into Cidade Velha. Once inside, take a leisurely stroll through the charming narrow streets until you arrive at Praça do Afonso III, where you will find Cidade Velha.

From the Faro bus station, exit to the Avenida da República and turn left. Walk straight for approximately 15 minutes, passing by several local shops and cafes. You'll see a roundabout ahead. Keep walking straight, then turn onto Rua de Portugal. As you reach the end of the street, you'll see the Arco da Vila ahead. Pass through this archway to enter Cidade Velha.
