Getting There

  • Train

    From Faro city center, head to Faro Train Station, which is located at Avenida da República. You can walk there in about 15 minutes from the main tourist areas. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Fuseta. Trains to Fuseta run regularly throughout the day. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Fuseta Train Station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the beach. It's about a 15-minute walk (1.2 km) from the station to Fuseta Beach. You will walk along Avenida 25 de Abril, then turn right onto Rua da Liberdade, and follow the road until you reach the beach.

  • Bus

    From the main bus terminal in Faro, which is located near the city center, look for the buses heading to Fuseta. These buses typically run multiple times a day. Make sure to check the schedule before you go. The bus ride to Fuseta takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Fuseta bus stop, follow the signs towards the beach. It’s a 10-15 minute walk (about 1 km) straight down Rua da Liberdade until you reach Fuseta Beach.

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Faro. Head towards the bike rental shops located around the city center. Once you have your bike, take the bike path along the waterfront towards Fuseta. The distance is approximately 11 km, and the ride will take about 40-50 minutes.
