Walking
If you are in the town center of Faro, start at the Praça da República. Head east on Rua de Santo António until you reach the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida da República. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will see signs directing you to Tavira. Continue walking until you reach the bus station in Faro. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket for Tavira. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving in Tavira, exit the bus station and walk straight on Rua Dr. José Figueira. After about 5 minutes, turn left onto Rua da Liberdade. Continue until you reach Largo de São Brás, where the Ermida de São Brás is located.
Public Transport
From the city center of Faro, walk to the Faro train station located on Avenida da República. Once at the station, purchase a train ticket to Tavira. Trains run regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Tavira station, exit the station and walk straight on Rua Dr. José Figueira. After about 5 minutes, turn left onto Rua da Liberdade. Continue walking until you arrive at Largo de São Brás, where the Ermida de São Brás is located.
