Getting There

• Bus

  From Faro, head to the main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Faro) located at Avenida da República. You can walk there from the city center, which is about a 10-minute walk. At the bus station, look for the bus heading to 'Loulé' or 'Querença'. The buses usually run every hour, but it's advisable to check the latest schedule at the station or online. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Querença stop, which is well-marked. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the village center.

• Train and Bus

  Start at Faro train station, which is centrally located. You can take a short walk or a taxi from the city center to the train station. Board a train heading towards 'Loulé,' which takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Loulé station, exit and find the bus stop outside the station. Look for a bus that goes to Querença; it should be marked on the bus list or schedule. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Disembark at the Querença stop. You can then walk to the village center, following signs or asking locals for assistance.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Faro. Start from the city center and head towards the 'Estrada de São Pedro' road, which leads out of Faro. Follow the signs directing you towards Loulé, and after about 15 kilometers, you will reach Querença. The ride offers beautiful scenery of the Algarve countryside. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay hydrated during your journey.
