From Faro city center, head to the main bus terminal, which is located near the train station. Take bus number 14 heading towards Tavira. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tavira, get off at the Tavira bus stop. From there, walk towards the town center, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Pte. Romana where the Tavira Old Bridge is located.
Train
Start at Faro train station and take a train towards Tavira. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Tavira train station, exit and turn left onto the main road. Follow the road straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the town center. Look for signs or ask locals to guide you to Pte. Romana where the Tavira Old Bridge is situated.
