If you are traveling by car, start by heading south on Avenida da República towards Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer. Turn right onto Rua 1º de Maio and follow it for about 500 meters. Then, take a left onto Rua Fernão de Magalhães. The Fort of Palheiros will be on your left at number 16. There is street parking available nearby, but please check local signs for any restrictions.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin at the Figueira da Foz bus station (Terminal Rodoviário). Take bus line 5 towards Praia de Quiaios. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop 'Rua Fernão de Magalhães'. From there, walk south for about 250 meters along Rua Fernão de Magalhães, and the Fort of Palheiros will be on your right at number 16. The bus fare is approximately €1.50.

Walking
If you are already in the city center and prefer to walk, head east on Avenida da República until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida do Brasil. Continue straight for about 800 meters, then turn left onto Rua 1º de Maio. Follow it until you reach Rua Fernão de Magalhães, and turn left. The Fort of Palheiros will be at number 16. This walk will take about 20 minutes.
