    From the Guimarães train station (Estação de Guimarães), exit and head northeast on Av. da República towards Av. João IV. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the Praça de São Tiago. From the square, take the street Rua de São Tiago and walk until you reach the intersection with Rua de Santa Maria. Turn right onto Rua de Santa Maria and walk straight until you reach the end of the street. You will see the Guimarães Castle on your left. Continue walking along the castle wall until you reach the end, and take a left onto Av. de Dom João IV. Follow this road for about 700 meters until you reach the city center. Once in the city center, look for signs directing towards Porto, and follow them to Av. Vimara Peres. The House of Guitars is located at Av. Vimara Peres 49 in Porto, about a 20-minute walk from the Guimarães city center.

    From Guimarães, take the bus from the Guimarães Bus Station (Terminal Rodoviário de Guimarães) to Porto. The bus service is frequent, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Porto Bus Station (Terminal Rodoviário do Campo 24 de Agosto), exit the station and head towards the metro station 'Campo 24 de Agosto'. Take the metro line D (yellow line) in the direction of 'Hospital de São João' and get off at the 'Marquês' station. From there, exit the metro station and walk southeast on Av. de Camilo until you reach Av. Vimara Peres. The House of Guitars is located at Av. Vimara Peres 49, which is about a 15-minute walk from the metro station.
