Walking
From the historic center of Guimarães, head south on Rua de Santo António towards Praça de São Tiago. Continue straight until you reach Largo do Toural. Once at Largo do Toural, turn left onto Rua de São Paulo and follow it until you reach the intersection with Rua de João de Meira. Turn right onto Rua de João de Meira, which will take you to the main square, Praça da Oliveira. From here, continue towards the east side of the square and exit onto Rua de São Miguel. Walk straight until you reach the end of the street, where you will see the bus station ahead. The bus station has services that can take you directly to Porto, including the Largo António Calém.

From the central bus station in Guimarães, purchase a ticket for a bus headed towards Porto. The buses are frequent, so check the schedule for the next departure to Porto. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which typically takes around 30 minutes. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Porto city center. If you prefer to take the metro, first take a bus from Guimarães to the nearest metro station in Porto, which is usually the Estação de São Bento. Once you arrive at São Bento, follow the signs for the metro. Take Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. After several stops, get off at the Casa da Música station. From Casa da Música, it is a short walk to Largo António Calém - exit the station and head southwest on Avenida da Boavista until you reach Rua de Camões, continue straight until you arrive at Largo António Calém.
