Walking
From the center of Lamego, head southeast towards Rua da Alegria. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with Rua da Igreja. Turn left onto Rua da Igreja and continue straight until you come to the main road, N226. Cross the road carefully and continue straight onto the footpath. After approximately 15 minutes, you will see a sign for Caves da Raposeira on your right. Follow the path indicated by the sign for another 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Caves da Raposeira.

If you have access to a bicycle, from the center of Lamego, take the bike lane along Avenida de São Pedro. Ride straight towards the N226. Once you reach the intersection, turn right onto N226. Follow the road for about 20 minutes, and you will see the signs for Caves da Raposeira. Take the exit towards the caves following the bike paths. It's a scenic route, so enjoy the views as you ride!

While there is no direct public transport to Caves da Raposeira, you can take a bus from Lamego to nearby villages. Head to the Lamego bus station and catch a bus heading towards Peso da Régua. Get off at the 'Cabo da Rua' stop (about a 15-minute ride). From there, it is a 30-minute walk towards the Caves da Raposeira. Follow the signs along the way to ensure you stay on the right path.
