Walking
If you are already in Alfama, the easiest way to reach Lisbon Cathedral is by walking. Start at the Miradouro de Santa Luzia viewpoint, which offers breathtaking views over the river. From there, head down the stairs towards the Rua da Regueira. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rua da Sé. Turn left onto Rua da Sé, and you will see the grand entrance of the Lisbon Cathedral (Sé de Lisboa) at Largo da Sé 1. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes.

If you prefer a quicker route, you can take the famous Tram 28, which passes through Alfama. Find a nearby tram stop, such as the one at Martim Moniz. Board Tram 28 and stay on until you reach the stop named 'Sé.' From there, it's just a short walk (about 5 minutes). Follow the signs towards Largo da Sé, and you will arrive at the cathedral. Please note that a single ticket for the tram costs around €3.

Alternatively, you can take a bus from various points in Alfama. Look for the bus stop for routes 737 or 794. Board the bus and get off at the 'Sé' stop. From there, walk a short distance to the cathedral, which is located at Largo da Sé 1. A single bus ticket costs approximately €1.50.
