Travel Guide to 25 April Bridge

Getting There

• Metro

  Take the Lisbon Metro to the 'Cais do Sodré' station (Green Line). Once you exit the station, head towards the riverfront promenade, known as 'Cais do Sodré'. From there, you can walk along the waterfront towards the '25 April Bridge'. Follow the signs for 'Ponte 25 de Abril' and enjoy the view as you approach the bridge.

• Tram

  Catch Tram 15E at any tram stop along the route towards 'Alameda'. Ride the tram until you reach the 'Praça do Comércio' stop. From there, walk towards the river and head west along the waterfront promenade. Keep walking until you see the '25 April Bridge'. It's a pleasant walk with beautiful views of the river.

• Bus

  Board Bus 727 at a nearby bus stop (you can find one at places like 'Praça do Comércio' or 'Cais do Sodré'). Take the bus towards 'Cascais', and get off at the 'Alcântara-Mar' stop. From there, you can walk towards the river, and you will be able to see the '25 April Bridge' in the distance. Follow the path along the waterfront to get closer.

• Walking

  If you are near the Alfama district, you can walk towards the river and head to 'Cais do Sodré'. From there, follow the riverside path heading southwest. It is a longer walk but offers scenic views of the Tagus River and the city. You'll eventually arrive at the base of the '25 April Bridge'.
