    Metro

    From central Lisbon, make your way to the Cais do Sodré Metro Station. Take the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré and alight at the last stop. Once at Cais do Sodré, follow the signs to the train station (Comboios). Purchase a ticket for the Fertagus Train to Almada. The train departs frequently; you will want to get off at the Almada station. When you arrive at Almada station, exit and walk straight for about 10 minutes, following signs for 'Centro'. You will arrive at Largo 1º de Maio where the Castle Garden is located.

    Ferry

    Head to the Cais do Sodré ferry terminal in central Lisbon. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Cacilhas. The ferry ride takes about 10-15 minutes and provides stunning views of the Tagus River and the city. Upon arriving in Cacilhas, exit the ferry and walk straight ahead. Turn left onto Rua 1º de Maio and continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Largo 1º de Maio, where the Castle Garden is situated.

    From your location in Lisbon, find the nearest bus stop and take a bus that heads towards Cacilhas or Almada. The bus number may vary, but commonly used routes include those operated by Carris.
