Public Transport - Tram
If you are starting at Praça do Comércio, head to the Praça do Comércio tram stop. Take Tram 15E towards Algés. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Cais do Sodré' stop. From there, walk towards the river and take the stairs leading up to Rua da Boavista. Continue on Rua da Boavista and take a left onto Rua das Janelas Verdes. Jardim 9 de Abril will be on your right after a short walk.

From Rossio Square, walk to the Rossio bus station. Take bus number 727 towards Campo de Ourique. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'R. das Janelas Verdes' stop. From there, walk a short distance along Rua das Janelas Verdes, and you will see Jardim 9 de Abril on your left.

If you are near the historic district of Alfama, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Start at the Miradouro de Santa Luzia viewpoint. Head down towards the river, then follow the waterfront along the Tagus River until you reach the Cais do Sodré train station. From there, walk along Rua da Boavista and then turn left onto Rua das Janelas Verdes. Jardim 9 de Abril will be ahead on your right.

If you are near the Baixa-Chiado metro station, take the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré. Get off at Cais do Sodré and exit towards the waterfront. Once you are outside, walk along the riverfront and take the stairs up to Rua da Boavista. Turn left, and then take a right onto Rua das Janelas Verdes. You will find Jardim 9 de Abril on your right side.
