Public Transport - Tram
Take Tram 28 (the famous yellow tram) from Martim Moniz or Campo Ourique, and ride it until you reach the stop called 'Estrela'. Once you get off, walk towards the Jardim da Estrela park. Walk through the park towards the R. da Estrela, then turn left onto R. das Janelas Verdes. The National Museum of Ancient Art will be on your right after a short walk.
Public Transport - Bus
Catch Bus 727 from either Praça do Comércio or Cais do Sodré. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Jardim 9 de Abril' stop. From there, walk back a bit towards R. das Janelas Verdes, and you will find the National Museum of Ancient Art just a few steps away.
Walking
If you are near the city center, you can walk to the museum. Head towards R. de São Bento, and continue straight until you reach the intersection with R. das Janelas Verdes. Turn right onto R. das Janelas Verdes, and after a short distance, you will see the National Museum of Ancient Art on your left.
