Metro
To reach Largo do Intendente using the Metro, go to the nearest Metro station. If you are near the Baixa-Chiado station, board the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. Travel for 4 stops and get off at the Intendente station. After exiting the train, take the stairs up to the street level. When you exit the station, turn left and walk straight for about 200 meters; Largo do Intendente will be on your right.
Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, find a nearby bus stop that serves routes to Largo do Intendente. Bus numbers 208 and 712 frequently stop at this location. Board the bus and ride until you reach the 'Intendente' stop. Once you get off, walk a short distance towards the square, which will be right in front of you.
Tram
For a more scenic route, take Tram 28, which is a popular tourist tram. Find the nearest tram stop for Tram 28 and board the tram heading towards Martim Moniz. Stay on for several stops until you reach the 'Intendente' stop. After disembarking, walk a short distance towards the square, and you will see Largo do Intendente ahead.
Walking
If you are close to the neighborhood of Mouraria or Graça, you can easily walk to Largo do Intendente. From Miradouro da Senhora do Monte, head down the hill towards Rua da Graça. Continue straight until you reach Rua do Intendente, then follow the street signs leading to Largo do Intendente. It’s a pleasant walk and will take around 15-20 minutes.
