Getting there

Metro

To reach Largo José Saramago, find the nearest Metro station. If you are near the Baixa-Chiado station, take the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at the next stop, which is Rossio. From Rossio station, exit and walk towards Praça da Figueira. Once at Praça da Figueira, head northeast on Rua da Conceição until you reach Largo do Corpo Santo. Continue straight until you see Largo José Saramago on your right.

Bus

Locate the nearest bus stop and take either bus number 12 or 28. If you are on Avenida da Liberdade, you can catch one of these buses towards Campo de Ourique. Alight at the stop called 'Largo do Intendente Pina Manique'. From there, walk northeast along Rua da Bela Vista à Graça, which will lead you directly to Largo José Saramago.

Walking

If you are already in the vicinity of the Alfama district, you can easily walk to Largo José Saramago. Start at the Miradouro de Santa Luzia and head down towards the river. Continue along the path, passing through Rua de São Miguel, until you reach Largo do Corpo Santo. From Largo do Corpo Santo, continue walking straight to Largo José Saramago, which should be on your left.

Tram

To reach Largo José Saramago via tram, find the nearest tram stop for Tram 28. Board the tram heading towards Campo de Ourique. Get off at the stop named 'Largo da Graça'. From there, walk down Rua da Graça towards the main road. Once you reach the intersection, turn right onto Rua da Bela Vista à Graça, which will lead you directly to Largo José Saramago.
