Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Baixa district (the downtown area), walk towards Praça do Comércio. From there, head north on Rua da Alfândega until you reach Rua do Comércio. Continue straight until you reach Rua da Prata, then turn right. From Rua da Prata, take a left onto Rua da Conceição and walk until you reach the intersection with Rua do Ouro. Turn right on Rua do Ouro and follow it until you reach Rossio Square. At Rossio, take the exit towards Praça dos Restauradores and board the Elevador da Glória, a funicular that will take you up to the Bairro Alto district. Once you get off at the top, walk straight until you hit Rua da Senhora do Monte. Follow this road until you arrive at Miradouro da Senhora do Monte.

  • Public Transport (Metro & Tram)

    Begin your journey at any nearby metro station and take the Green Line (Linha Verde) towards Cais do Sodré. Get off at the 'Rossio' station. From Rossio, you can either take Tram 28 or walk. If you choose the tram, board Tram 28 at the 'Praça do Martim Moniz' stop, which is a short walk from Rossio. This tram will take you through the historic neighborhoods. Get off at the 'Graça' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk uphill to Miradouro da Senhora do Monte. Follow the signs to Largo Monte.
