From Lisbon, head to the Cais do Sodré train station. You can get there by taking the metro (Green Line) to Cais do Sodré. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Cascais (it will cost around €2.50). Board the train heading to Cascais, and enjoy the scenic ride along the coast. After approximately 40 minutes, you will arrive at Cascais station. Upon exiting the station, turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes along Av. Dom Carlos I, then turn right onto R. Júlio Pereira de Mello. The Museu do Mar Rei Dom Carlos I will be on your left.

To reach Cascais from Lisbon by bus, go to the Sete Rios Bus Terminal. You can get there by taking the metro (Blue Line) to Jardim Zoológico. At Sete Rios, look for the bus service operated by Scotturb to Cascais. Purchase your ticket (around €5) and board the bus. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Cascais, get off at the main bus terminal. From there, walk straight along Av. Dom Carlos I for about 10 minutes, then turn right onto R. Júlio Pereira de Mello where the museum is located on your left.
