    Getting There

    Metro

    If you're near a metro station, take the Blue Line towards Santa Apolónia. Disembark at the 'Baixa-Chiado' station. Once you exit the station, head towards the Rua do Ouro exit. After you get out, walk straight down Rua do Ouro until you reach Praça do Comércio, which will be at the end of the street. The square is large and open, and you will see the iconic arch and the river.

    Bus

    Locate the nearest bus stop and take any bus heading towards 'Cais do Sodré' or 'Praça da Figueira'. If you take the bus to Praça da Figueira, once you get off, walk towards the large white arch (Arco da Rua Augusta) and continue walking straight through it to reach Praça do Comércio. If taking the bus to Cais do Sodré, walk straight from the bus stop towards the river until you reach Praça do Comércio.

    Tram

    Find the nearest tram stop and take Tram 15E towards Algés. Disembark at 'Cais do Sodré'. From there, walk along the riverfront or head up towards Praça do Comércio. The square is a short 10-minute walk from the tram stop, following the signs towards the river.

    Walking
