  • Train and Walk

    From central Lisbon, make your way to the Cais do Sodré train station, which is easily accessible via the metro (Green Line). Once at Cais do Sodré, take the train on the Cascais line towards Cascais. Get off at the Colares station. From Colares, you can catch a local bus (Bus 440) heading towards Praia das Maçãs, but the best way to reach Ursa Beach is to walk. Head southwest from the train station along the road (Estrada de Colares) for approximately 2 km until you reach the entrance to the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. Follow the signs to Ursa Beach, which is a 30-minute hike down a scenic trail. Keep an eye out for the stunning cliffs and coastal views along the way!

    Start your journey from the Rossio Square in Lisbon. Take the bus number 403 from the Rossio bus terminal towards Colares. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Colares bus stop, you will need to walk. Head towards the Estrada de Colares, walking in the direction of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. Follow the signs for Ursa Beach, which will lead you along a well-marked trail. The hike to the beach will take around 30 minutes, and you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the coastline.
