Walking
From the city center of Guimarães, head east on Rua de Santo António towards Praça de S. Tiago. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Francisco. Turn left onto Rua de São Francisco and walk until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rua da Fábrica and continue walking. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Paço de Giela. Follow the signs, and it will lead you directly to the location at 4970-155 Giela.

Public Transport
From the Guimarães bus station, take bus line 9 towards Giela. The bus will take you directly to the Giela area. Get off at the 'Giela' stop. From there, walk approximately 500 meters north along Rua de Giela until you reach Paço de Giela. You should see the castle ahead as you approach.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Guimarães city center and head towards Avenida Dom João IV. Follow the road along the river until you reach the junction with Rua da Fábrica. Continue on this road, cycling past the Giela neighborhood. Look for signs directing you to Paço de Giela. The journey should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
